A carburettor is only as good as the quality of its internal components.
Our Single Carburettor Clean & Rebuild Service is designed to restore reliable operation, correct fuel delivery and consistent performance through professional cleaning, careful inspection and a quality rebuild.
Upon arrival, your carburettor is inspected before being completely dismantled and correctly prepared for a full professional ultrasonic clean. Once cleaned, components are assessed and the carburettor is rebuilt using FKM (Viton) seals and UK manufactured jets where necessary. A DynoJet upgrade is also available upon request for compatible applications.
Attention to detail continues throughout reassembly. Float heights are accurately set to the manufacturer’s specifications, float valve seals are pressure tested, and the idle mixture screw is set to the manufacturer’s recommended manual settings. Where applicable, the diaphragm is vacuum tested, while the fuel rail and float bowl are leak tested.
Once complete, your carburettor receives a final inspection, with before and after photographs documenting the work carried out. Your finished carburettor is securely packaged and returned using Royal Mail or DPD next-day delivery.
Important Information
This is a functional service, not a cosmetic restoration. Your carburettor will be thoroughly cleaned internally and externally, but existing corrosion, discolouration, pitting and age-related wear will remain unless additional cosmetic work is requested.
If seized mixture screws or jets are encountered, extraction is charged at £30 per screw. Due to the precision required for safe removal, this may extend the estimated turnaround time.
