The Journey To Us

Getting your carbs to us is the first step. All you need to do is package them securely and send them to the address listed on the 'shipping to us' page.

The Inspection

Once your carbs arrive, we carry out an initial inspection. This helps identify any visual damage, underlying causes of the running issues, or parts that may need replacing beyond your standard rebuild.

The Strip down & clean

This is where the real work begins. Every jet, screw, pin, bolt, o-ring and washer is carefully removed until only the bare bodies remains. This ensures that no details is overlooked and every component is properly dealt with.

The Rebuild

With everything spotless, the carbs are rebuilt using only high-quality kits, equal to or better than OEM standards. For those looking for performance upgrades, DynoJet kits can also be fitted for an additional premium.

The Tune-Up

Before your carbs leave, they’re fine-tuned with precision; Float heights are set to the manufacturer’s recommended spec. Idle mixture screws are adjusted to manual settings. Carbs are bench-synced accurately using feeler gauges and bench tested for air/ fuel leaks.

This ensures they’re ready to run as smoothly as possible once back on the bike.

The Journey Home

Finally, your carbs are packaged securely and shipped back to you via Royal Mail 24-hour tracked service. That way, you can rest easy knowing they’ll return safe, sound, and ready to bolt back on.

Frequently asked questions

What parts are replaced during the rebuild?

We replace all gaskets, seals, washers, float needles, seats & jets if necessary during the rebuild. If we come across any parts that are not replaced as standard, we will contact you with prices & timeframes before continuing works.

Can I drop my carbs off?

Unfortunately we do not offer a drop off service. We may be able to arrange for you to collect your carb/s once complete.

Do I need to book my carbs in?

Yes. We operate by appointment only.

Booking your carburettors in ensures we can guarantee our turnaround times and give every job the time and attention it deserves. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll provide a shipping window along with clear packing and postage instructions.

If you’re unsure which service you need, just get in touch. We’ll be happy to point you in the right direction before you book.

Do I need to disassemble my carb/s before sending them in?

This depends on the service you require. For our basic ultrasonic cleaning service, we ask that you send all items entirely disassembled.

Our full clean & rebuild service includes the entire strip down, clean, rebuild and set-up process + parts so you can be confident that every step has been completed to a high professional standard.

Will my carbs be synced/ balanced?

Before packing them up, we will bench synchronise your bank of carbs using feeler gauges, this is a very accurate way of balancing the throttle butterflies on the bench. Some vehicles with high mileage may need to be further vacuum balanced once installed on the bike.

Can you tune them to my set-up?

Yes we can jet for your set-up but we cannot offer our usual guarantees as with stock set-ups. Further tuning may be required once on the bike. In most cases we can provide a selection of jet sizes for you to try.
