This is a standard cleaning service, we do not disassemble, rebuild or replace components as you would in a rebuild. We require the carbs to be sent disassembled. Unless the rebuild service has been selected, the carbs will be professionally cleaned and returned unassembled. If you require disassembly and rebuild, please opt for the full ultrasonic clean and rebuild service.
Disclaimer:
This is a functional service, not a cosmetic one. Your carbs will be thoroughly cleaned internally and externally but will not come back looking “brand new” if the existing condition was already poor. Corrosion, discolouration and age-related wear will remain unless you opt for separate cosmetic work.
If seized mixture screws and jets are encountered, removal is charged at £30 per screw. Due to the precision and time required for safe extraction, this may extend the estimated turnaround time.
